On Tuesday 22nd of September is the world premiere of the new film "The Age of Stupid" and Friends of the Earth in cooperation with TE.PA.K. (Cyprus University of Technology) are organizing an open to the public screening of the film at the yard of TE.PA.K.'s Rectorate, 179 X''Paylou str. (sea front road) at 8:30 pm.
The Age of Stupid is the new movie from Director Franny Armstrong (McLibel) and producer John Battsek (One Day In September). Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated future world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

Στις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου είναι η παγκόσμια πρεμιέρα της καινούργιας ταινίας "The Age of Stupid" και οι Φίλοι της Γης σε συνεργασία με το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΤΕ.ΠΑ.Κ) διοργανώνουν προβολή της ταινίας στην αυλή της Πρυτανείας του ΤΕ.ΠΑ.Κ, οδός Χριστοδούλου Χ''Παύλου 179 (παραλιακός) στις 8:30 μ.μ. Το "Age of Stupid" είναι μια καινούργια ταινία με θέμα τις κλιματικές αλλγές από την σκηνοθέτη Franny Armstrong (McLibel) και τον παραγωγό John Battsek (One Day In September). Ο βραβευμένος με Όσκαρ Pete Postlethwaite πρωταγωνιστεί ως ο τελευταίος επιζών σε ένα κατεστραμμένο πλέον κόσμο το 2055, εξετάζοντας δεδομένα από το 2008 και ρωτώντας: Γιατί δεν σταματήσαμε την αλλαγή του κλίματος (φαινόμενο του θερμοκηπίου) όταν είχαμε την ευκαιρία;
